Die Puhdys-Hell Raiser/Highway Star(|973)

Bienvenidos de nuevo a las series de los HEAVY SINGLES, música proto-doom/heavy rock de los años 60s/70s, es un placer siempre leer sus comentarios, Mr Krieg y yo estamos encantados de revelar al mundo el material más subestimado por cualquier melómano.

Al parecer Alemania nunca será motivo de sorpresa, ahora Die Puhdys una banda alemána, puesto que fue una banda heavy underground vivía de la contemporaneidad de la música, posiblemente cuando tocó deep purple en alemania estuvieron fascinados por su música a menos mal que ya los habrían escuchado antes, como sea existe un reissue de su música de los 70s lanzado en 1993, pero eso es diferente, la banda se hizo llamar Ur-Besetzung tiempo después se confundió con Puhdys pero su nombre real es Die Puhdys.

La banda empezó a tocar en el año del 65' pero los vieron tocar por primera vez en el 69 en Freiberg, por ahora tienen una colección de muchas canciones sacadas en ese tiempo, pero es una banda grandiosa y los invito a disfrutar este heavy single muy inconsciente en su tiempo ya que disfrutarán momentos de early heavy metal con aires de deep purple, uriah heep y led zeppelin.. YEAH!
